Herman E. Roberts, Jr. EXETER - Herman Roberts, 88, died October 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born April 4, 1934 in Pittsfield, a son of Herman and Clara (Wood) Roberts. He graduated from Maine Central Institute and attended George Washington University in Washington, D. C. He will be remembered as a meat cutter at Maple Lane Farms. He was an active Mason. He was predeceased by his wife Beulah (Gray) Roberts in 2019. He is survived by his son, Herman III of Exeter; 4 daughters, Pamela Clark of Bangor, Belinda and husband David MacDougal of Arizona, Robin Nightengale of Corinna, and Cynthia Roberts of Exeter; 2 brothers, Larry Roberts of Brooks and Donald Roberts of Portland; 9 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren. A Masonic graveside funeral and committal service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, November 4th, at the Crowell Cemetery, Cider Hill Road, Exeter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
