HARTLAND - I. Wayne King, 79, died July 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 16, 1939 in Wakefield, Rhode Island, a son of Irving J. and Julia (Gardiner) King.

Wayne was a self-employed stone mason for many years. He was a past president of the local stone cutter's guild and enjoyed painting. He was a true artist in both mediums.

He is survived by a son, David Wayne Remington; 2 daughters, Julie Remington and Lori Calderone; a step daughter, Cindy Young; 3 brothers, Clifford Dwight and Dale; and 5 sisters, Joan, Carolyn, Irene, Carol and Hazel; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his girlfriend Rose. He was predeceased by his wife Carol.

A private graveside will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
