WORCESTER, MA & PORTLAND – James Rodney Cole, 67, went to be with his Lord February 21, 2023. He was born January 4, 1956 in Houlton, a son of Frederick and Geraldine (Bear) Cole. Jim liked spending time with his family and friends and doing woodworking, making things for his mother and sister. He enjoyed going to baseball games. His favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed listening to music and watching comedies. He worked on demolition crews in Portland for a number of years. He was always ready to lend a helping hand when asked. He will be missed by friends and family. James was predeceased by a sister, Caroline Campbell, a brother, Frederick Cole, Jr. and also 2 infant siblings Charlene and Frederick. He is survived by his sister, Lori Gerry of Pittsfield and a son Raymond Cole of Augusta; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Bear Mountain Worcester for their wonderful care and compassion they gave Jim while he was there. There will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
