NEWPORT - James Green, 76, died July 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas, and served in the U.S. Army until 1967. He later served in the National Guard until 1974. James worked for the Town of Concord, MA from 1970 until his retirement in 2005.

He is survived by his children, Kathleen, Travis, Nadine, Valerie and Steven; sisters, Alice Anderson and Stella Lee; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

James was predeceased by his parents, Nadine and Clyde; his wife Edna; his son Jamie; his partner Elaine; and 2 sisters, Iva Hutchinson and Linda Ewing.

A graveside committal service will be held 11 A. M. Saturday, July 24th, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
