James R. Lovely, 46, died July 22, 2025, in Dexter. He was born in Bangor on January 3rd, 1979, the son of Kenneth Keith Lovely and Loueen Lovely. James worked as an assembler for years at Perfect Fit Shield Wallets in Corinna, ME. He was known for always being there if you needed a hand or just someone to talk to. Whether it was family, friends, or even a stranger who needed some help, he never hesitated. He gave selflessly and never expected anything in return, except a good joke, story, or just a smile. James is survived by his mother, Loueen Lovely of Dexter; brother, Eric Lovely and Nerissa Berry of Stetson; brother Edward and Kristie Lovely of Benton; sister Angelita and Gordon Wallace of Garland and sister Erin and Rob Ranquist of Dexter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Keith Lovely. A funeral service will be held at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, on Friday, August 1st at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Newport.
