BURNHAM--Jeffrey Michael Comerford, 52, died June 3, 2021. He was born April 19, 1969 in Oneida, New York, a son of Michael and Ruie (Finster) Comerford. He served in the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Nimitz CVN-68 from 1987 to 1992. He was sent to the Persian Gulf in February 1991 in support of Desert Storm. Jeffrey made 2 deployments and travelled the world as well as the United States. He enjoyed travel, woodworking, 4-wheeling, flipping real estate and motorcycle riding. He volunteered and was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Elks. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Delight Comerford; mother Ruie Witchly; father and stepmother, Michael and Dorothy Comerford; son Jeffrey Tyler Comerford; brother Scott Comerford; 2 half-brothers Kyle and Kevin Comerford; and stepsister Holly Comerford. A celebration of life will be held 1:30 P. M., Saturday, September 11th at 30 Troy Road, Burnham, Maine. A Navy Military Honors service will be held at 3 P. M. Parking will be available at the church across the street and on the street side. Please bring your lawn chairs, coolers and funniest Jeffrey stories. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
