ELLSWORTH - Jennifer Mae Howatt, 53, died December 27, 2018 at the Downeast Horizons home in Ellsworth where she was among her friends and wonderful caregivers. She was born February 2, 1965 in Portland, a daughter of Benjamin and Carol (Grant) Howatt.

She loved to laugh, eat and watch all of the Tom Cruise movies. She especially enjoyed massages. She lived with her mother and grandmother in Hall Quarry. She also lived with them in Puerto Rico, West Virginia, Illinois and many places in Maine.

Jenny leaves behind her Uncle George and Aunt Lucille Grant of Newport; Aunt Shirley Grant of Kittery; and cousins Jody, Josh, Wendy and Torrey Grant.

She was predeceased by her parents and grandparents, George and Lucille Grant.

Jenny would want us to thank all the staff and caregivers at Downeast Horizons for their exceptional kindness and devotion for the many years that she resided there.

Graveside committal services will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Newport. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Memorial donations may be made to Downeast Horizons, 77 Union Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605.
