NEWPORT - Jerry Lee Standley, 89, died November 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa, a son of Robert and Fern (Hylton) Standley. He served in the U. S. Air Force and met his wife, the late MaryLee (Robichaud), while stationed at Dow Air Base in Bangor. He worked in sales for much of his life, most recently for Overhead Door of Hermon. He later worked as a custodian for the Hampden School department.

Jerry is survived by 3 sons, Rick of Bangor, Allen of Glenburn, Timothy of Newport; 2 daughters, Debra Sawyer of Milo and Lisa Breindell of Brewer; 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
