STETSON - JoAnn E. Gray, 78, died June 3, 2019 at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born November 29, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Joseph and Hilda (Schnarr) Krupp. She retired from Nautel Maine, Inc., a maker of radio transmitters. She loved to knit, making caps for shelters in Bangor. JoAnn loved cats and dogs and was a great supporter of the Humane Society and the S.P.C.A.

She is survived by a sister, Mary and husband Larry Hayes of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was predeceased by her husband, Frank Gray, a sister, Carol Poll, and her longtime companion, Arnold Carson.

A graveside funeral and committal service will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, June 11th, at Clark's Hill Cemetery, Stetson. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086
