DEXTER- John O. Clukey passed away May 22nd, 2025, in Dover- Foxcroft, Maine. John was born on November 12th, 1940, in Dexter, Maine to Clatus and Jeanette Clukey. He was the second child born into a large family of nine children. After high school, he moved to Connecticut, married, and raised his family. After he retired, he returned to his hometown of Dexter.

John is survived by his children, Lisa Kneeland and her husband Scott, Michael Rousseau, and Sarah Jensen and her husband Anthony, his grandchildren, Daniel Zigadlo, Bailee Crisinati, Adam Jensen, and Erin Jensen. John is also survived by six of his siblings, Sandra, Joe, Jerry, Jim, Nancy and Neil. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Wayne and Barbara.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hill Top Manor in Dover- Foxcroft for giving him excellent care over the last several years.

The burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, Maine on Wednesday, June 4th, at 11am.
