Jolene Marie Tileston, 84, of Dexter, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was born in Dexter on September 5, 1941, the second child of Albert and Rose (Robichaud) Robichaud.

Jolene was born and raised in Dexter and graduated from Dexter High School. Following graduation, she went to work at Dexter Shoe, where she was employed for more than twenty years.

On September 3, 1959, she married Leon Tileston,A and together they built a life centered around family and community. Jolene enjoyed playing bingo and was a proud member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny, and her husband Lloyd Washburn of Dexter; her first-born granddaughter, Jamie Ogden of Dexter; four additional grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Jolene was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Cathy Tileston; and her husband, Leon Tileston.

A private graveside committal will be held in the springtime at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, Maine.
