Joseph
Busque
July 22, 1992 — July 23, 2026
Winslow
WINSLOW- Joseph Busque, of Winslow, Maine, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 34.
Joseph was born on July 22, 1992, in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, to Patricia Busque and Jeffery Beal. Throughout his life, he was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and the care he had for those in his life.
Joseph treasured the simple moments with family and friends being outdoors, opening BarkBoxes with his dog Bentley, gathering around a backyard firepit, barbequing, and playing cribbage around the kitchen table [and winning]. As an avid gamer, Joseph (aka Ulfvald) enjoyed games of all types. His humor, loyalty, and competitive spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Above all, Joseph was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend. His family was his greatest source of happiness, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with those he loved.
Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Busque; father, Jeffery Beal; sisters, Marji Bogacki, Megan Bryson, Donna Jean Woodard; grandmother, Marilyn Cossar; six nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his extended family; and many dear friends—both near and far—whose lives were enriched by his friendship and kindness.
Though his time with us was far too short, Joseph's memory will live on in every game night, campfire conversation, fishing trip, and online quest shared among family and friends. The family invites all who knew and loved Joseph to remember him by gathering with those closest to them, sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply taking time to enjoy the things that brought him happiness. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories that will forever be cherished. Our hearts are broken, but we are deeply grateful for the love, kindness, generosity, and devotion he shared so freely.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, August 01, 2026, at Crosby and Neal 117 Main Street, Newport for a service at 1:00 p.m, followed by burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, Maine. Condolences may be expressed at www.crosbyneal.com. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Waterville Area Humane Society in Joseph's memory.
