EXETER - Joseph Edgar Emery, 75, died September 17, 2021. He was born April 7, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of Joseph and Betty (Stultz) Emery. He retired as a mechanic and enjoyed his Camaro and Harley Davidson motorcycle. In his earlier years, Joe enjoyed drag racing at the Winterport Dragway, and in retirement he liked to ride around the back roads with his dogs.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Strevig of Joppa, MD, and Lynn Daubert of Westminster, MD; a step daughter, Roxanne (McCarthy) O'Neil; 5 siblings; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and friends of the family, Rocky Cote and Lynn Lindsey.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Emery and a step daughter, Michelle Ellis.

There will be no services at this time. Interment will be in the Chadbourne Cemetery, Harmony. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
