DEXTER - Joseph Tibbetts, 58, died August 22, 2020 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born February 1, 1962 in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Chandler and Audrey (Mountain) Tibbetts. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1981 and was employed as a dyer at True Textiles in Guilford. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Joe is survived by his father; 2 sons, Parker and Cole; 1 brother Tod and wife Tammy Tibbetts, all of Dexter; a sister Regina and husband Jeff Hardy of Palmyra; several nieces and nephews; his mother in law Roberta Webber of Hartland; 2 brothers in law, Paul and wife Sherry Vigue of Hartland, Jeff and wife Camille Vigue of Ridgefield, Washington State; and his step father Charles Cogswell of Windsor.

He was predeceased by his wife Carla, mother Audrey Cogswell, sister in law Elaine Vigue, and a nephew P.J. Vigue

Private services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland.
