Joyce M. Day

DEXTER - Joyce Day, 89, has gone home to be with the Lord April 29, 2020. She was born November 18, 1930 in Milo, a daughter of Kenneth and Lillian (Fitz) Ferris. She attended Corinna Union Academy and worked at Dexter Shoe Company for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and was a member of the Elizabeth Towle Guild.

She is survived by her daughter Linda and husband John Fowler of Corinna; a brother Raymond Ferris of Detroit; 2 sisters, Betty Randall of Bangor and Hazel Maxwell of Levant; 2 grandchildren, Katie and Luke.

She was predeceased by her husband Llewellyn Day, and a brother Donald Ferris.

Graveside funeral and committal services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 573, Dexter, ME 04930. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
