NEWPORT - K. Hartsgrove, 60, died November 23, 2020 at her home after fighting cancer. She was born December 15, 1959 in Dexter, a daughter of Llewellyn and Marion (Williams) Moulton. She graduated from Nokomis Regional High and received an Associate's Degree from Thomas College in Waterville. She worked in accounting at Dexter Shoe Company, United Way, and Gilman Electric in Newport. She had a strong, funny personality and was loved by many. She was a member of the Historic Preservation Society at the Newport Cultural Center and was also interested in Civil War reenactments. She is survived by a son Joshua and wife Heidi Hartsgrove of St. Albans; a daughter, Jillian Hartsgrove of Newport; and a brother, Paul and wife Karen Moulton of Corinna; a grandson Dylon; and 2 step grandchildren, Cayden and Avie Claude. Due to Covid restrictions, a small private funeral will be held at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. Burial will be in the Corinna Center Cemetery. In the spring a larger public celebration of life is planned.
