Kathleen L. King, 84, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Etna, Maine, on February 27, 1941, the daughter of Busta and Kathleen (Temple) King. Kathleen worked for many years at Eastland Woolen Mill and Dexter Shoe. She was known for her kind heart and love of caring for others from her own children and grandchildren to kids from around town.

Kathleen enjoyed crafts and quilting, playing Yahtzee, cards, and board games, and especially loved camping and spending time with her family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and often opened her home to anyone in need. She is survived by her daughter, Hope, and husband, Eddie Glidden; grandchildren Robyn, Ernest, and Travis Carrow, Mirina and Shannon Glidden; great-grandchildren Sage, Peyton, Kathryn, and Jayden; her special cousin, Chris Curtis; and brothers Ronald King and Darrell King.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents; three sons, Harry, Lester, and Jerry Carrow; granddaughter Cynthia Carrow; and her sister, Shirley Ross.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Kathleen’s home.
