DETROIT - Kathleen A. Mortimer, 76, died June 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 9, 1943 in Pittsfield, a daughter of Ivan and Evelyn (Elkins) Kennedy. She was employed for many years at an area boarding home. She is survived by 2 sons, Galen Spencer of Pittsfield, and Scott Spencer of Clinton; 4 daughters, Tanya Spencer of Waterville, Eugena Spencer of Detroit, April Cookson of Albion, and Tootsie MacDonald of Palmyra; 4 brothers, Larry Kennedy of Pittsfield, James Kennedy of Arizona, Ivan Kennedy of Stetson, and Terry Kennedy of Florida; 4 sisters, April Deraps of Palmyra, Judy Bailey of Colorado, Diane Humphrey of Palmyra, and Jessica Breau of St. Albans; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. There will be no public services at this time. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
