NEWPORT - Keith A. Fennelly, Sr., 92, died December 31, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 23, 1930 in Dexter, a son of Eric and Hazel (Arno) Fennelly. Keith was a U. S. Navy veteran. Keith enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, working on vehicles and carpentry. He was employed as a cook for many years. Keith and his wife owned and operated Maple Breeze Farms greenhouse and gardens. He was especially proud of his geraniums which lined his porch each summer. Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Easley) Fennelly; his children, Keith, Jr. and partner Tracey of Florida, Craig and wife Jennifer of Carmel, Allen Easley of Newport, Dawn and husband Tom Byron of Troy; grandchildren, Elizabeth Easley of Troy, Diane Tyler and partner Ion of Waldo, Keith Fennelly, III and wife Lindsey, and Alliana Fennelly, all of Massachusetts, and Eyan Fennelly of Carmel; 2 great grandchildren; a brother, David of Dexter; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Robert and a sister, Alice and husband Russell Moulton. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the North Newport Cemetery with the Rev. David Ray, Sr. officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
