NEWPORT - Kenneth Buzzell, 75, passed away peacefully August 16, 2022. He was born January 31, 1947 in LaGrange, a son of Walter and Myrtle (Moulton) Buzzell. Ken graduated from Corinna Union Academy and served in the U. S. Army from 1967 to 1969. He was married to his first wife Janie Johnson and they had 2 daughters. Ken married Joanne Micue in 1989. They resided in Skowhegan for a couple of years and then moved to Newport where they built their home. He was a supervisor of construction for Sheridan, and then C.M. Builders. Ken was a Legionnaire and was a member of the Maine Antique Tractor Club. After retiring he thoroughly enjoyed working on old tractors and was known locally as "the tractor man". In addition to his wife of Newport, he is survived by his daughter, Felancy Grant and her two children, Nick and wife Kailee, and Daegin Grant; 3 sisters, Charlene, Beulah, and Shirley; several nieces, nephews and cousins; stepchildren Heather Micue and Ronald Micue. He was predeceased his sister Arlene and 2 brothers Carl and Lloyd. A graveside committal service will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, August 26th, at the North Newport Cemetery with Pastor Phil Mumford officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
