Keven L. Newcomb, 69, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, crossed over to his eternal home in heaven, on February 4, 2020.
He was born on September 27,1950 in Bangor; a son of the late James and Lillian Newcomb and predeceased by a sister, Pamela Cohen. He graduated, 1968, Ellington High School, Connecticut and then served four years in the Air Force. He graduated with an Associate's degree, 1978, EMVTI, Bangor. Keven worked as a carpenter foreman and then started his own business, Keven Newcomb Building Construction, and up to 1996, built many homes in the Bangor area.
Keven was saved at a young age and had a passion for reading the Word which he continued throughout life. He worked in many facets of the ministry including teaching, preaching, pastoral works, evangelism, television, and missionary works in places such as Russia and Africa. He also had a heart for sick and hurting people where he prayed for many who were healed through God's amazing Power.
Family and friends cherish memories of Keven with his love of the outdoors including gardening, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing basketball for most of his life. Keven is sadly missed by his loving, devoted wife of 46 years, Cynthia Marie, Corinth; his two sons Joshua, Phoenix, AZ and Jacob with wife, Jessica, Hampden; grandchildren Krista, Christian, Makayla, and Charlotte; two brothers, Aaron and wife, Lori, Exeter; and Timothy and wife, Cindy, Florida; sister Patricia and husband, Glen Glazier, Corinth; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February, 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Charleston Church, Fellowship Hall, Charleston with Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, May 22nd, at Highland Cemetery, Carmel. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
