Obituary

PITTSFIELD - It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother after his hard fought battle with cancer. He was born February 3, 1962 in Milford, MA, a son of Donald and Thecla (Patrick) Corkran. Family was above all the most important to him. He was such a great role model to his children and grandchildren alike. He was proud of them all and gave them many memories that filled their hearts. True soulmates, Kim and Janice showed their children what true love should be. Some of Kim's favorite adventures, "besides yard saling" were their trips to Bermuda and their latest to NYC. Kim loved camping, all outdoors and riding his Can Am Spyder. Kim was blessed to have been able to fulfill his dream of owning an antique mall. Kim proudly told the story of how his mother taught him to love antiques. This also brought him the blessing of many good friends. That brought Kim and his 'bub' Jerry and their audience further into the antique world doing auctions. He will be missed by many. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Steven and Rachel, Anne and Bobby, Michael and Michilynn, Jason and Christina; grandchildren, Dakota, Kendall, Rylie, Nate, Riley, Rowan, Tatum, Chloee, Marlee, and Chayse; siblings, Donald (Celeste), Joyce (Terry), and Anita; brothers and sisters in law, Arlene (Chuck), Phyllis (Max) Judy (Trent), Herb (Alyce), and Dave; many loved nieces and nephews. He was loved by so many and had many special friends. Kim was predeceased by his siblings, Joel, Sharon, and Julie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with spring burial at Pittsfield Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 250 Brackett Street, Portland, ME 04102.
