NEWPORT - Lisa Smith, 50, died June 8, 2019 at her residence after a nearly 20 year battle with breast cancer. She was born October 21, 1968 in Bangor, a daughter of Rodney "Buddy" and Lois (Bryant) Copeland.

Lisa was a florist at Bud's Shop and Save in Newport for many years. She enjoyed making jewelry for sale to support breast cancer research.

She is survived by her husband, James "Tony" Smith of Newport; 2 sisters, Stacy and husband Pierre Chabre of Newport, and Cindy Sullivan of North Fort Myers, Florida. She will also be remembered by her special friend, Dr. Audrey Garrett.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
