GUILFORD, Lucinda Mae Jones, 46, died November 20, 2011, at her home in Guilford, where she resided with her son, Lucas Foster. She was born February 16, 1965 in Dexter, the oldest daughter of Madeline Petrie of Dover-Foxcroft and Carroll Jones of Parkman.

As a young girl, Syndi was involved in 4-H, and Girl Scouts. After graduating from Foxcroft Academy, she went into food services for a short period of time, worked at Guilford of Maine for ten years as a clerk and back up supervisor, and then went on and received her Master of Arts in Psychology and worked for NOE. She enjoyed her pets, music, movies, and camping with her son Luc.

Syndi is survived by her parents, her son, step father, Edward Petrie, step mother, Carrie Jones; two brothers, Daniel Jones and his wife, Brenda, and daughter, Danica, and Matthew Jones and his wife, Becky and their two children, Gavyn Moreshead and Ellianna; a sister, Melissa Jones and her children, Sarah, Brandon, and Kaitlyn; Lucas' grandmother, Carolyn Hersey; a brother-in-law, David Foster; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; close friends, Leiann Page and Scott Ward.

She was predeceased by her companion, Lucas' father, Kurt Foster.

There will be a graveside memorial service Friday, November25, 2011 at 1 PM at the Lee Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft.
