NEWPORT - Luke Munster, 31, died January 23, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1990 in Greenville, a son of Karl and Lori Ann (Holbrook) Munster. He graduated from Nokomis Regional High and worked for C. A. Newcomb in Carmel.

Luke enjoyed working and playing in the outdoors and loved fishing and hunting. He was a music man including writing his own songs. He had a good sense of humor and was loved by all. He was also a poet. A Registered Maine Guide he was involved especially with white water rafting. Luke also loved to cook for family and friends and was loved.

He is survived by his father of Newport and mother of Arundel; his stepmother Carolyn Munster of Dixmont; the love of his life Nikki Tsimekles of Newport; 3 brothers, Shane Holbrook of Biddeford, Andrew Braley, his wife Liz and their daughter Daisy of Bucksport; and brother Matthew Munster of Bangor.

Services will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rockwood in the spring.
