Obituary

EXETER- Lyndell Halcott Herrick, born September 12th, 1952, to Lyndell Fred Herrick and Marlene Annie Potter, passed away peacefully on October 20th,2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Throughout his life, Lyndell embraced a passion for adventure and joy. He loved to travel, relishing new experiences, and exploring wherever he could. Concerts brought him great happiness, and he could also be found spending serene moments by the pond, appreciating the beauty of nature. Lyndell had a love for fireworks, finding delight in lighting up the night sky for the enjoyment of others. He also loved to race stock cars with his son Ron, he even was a proud member of the pit crew. He also loved his Harleys; he couldn't even count how many miles he had. His strong sense of determination led him to achieve a remarkable milestone- starting his own business in his 60's, a testament to his drive and dedication. Above all, Lyndell cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife Kathy, their bond was a source of comfort and joy, and their shared memories will forever be a legacy of love. Lyndell was predeceased by his parents, three of his siblings, Balinda Herrick, Rosalinda Sweeney, and Sue Caron. Lyndell is survived by his loving wife Kathy, his stepfather James Potter, his sons, Ronald Herrick, and Steven Herrick, his stepdaughter Jennifer Harmon, two stepsons David Hickman, and Danny Hickman, his siblings Karen Dichello, Eilean Durant, Tamarlenea Gilman, David Herrick and Tarry Gilman, his grandchildren, Cassidy, Olivia, Matthew, Riley, Mason, Kierstin, Jacob, Sara, Katriana, and Hayze. As well as several nieces and nephews. Lyndell will be deeply missed by all who knew him, his infectious smile, resilience, will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Exeter Town Hall at 1pm on November 9th with a graveside service at 3pm at Exeter Center Cemetery.
