ST ALBANS – Marc Edwin Tischart, 64, passed away June 7, 2023 at home surrounded by family. He was born October 6, 1958 in Corvallis, Oregon, a son of Edwin Tischart and Carole Luoto. He studied broadcast journalism at Oregon State University and served in ministry and Christian radio for 25 years. He was predeceased by his parents and stepfather Richard “Pop” Scales. He is survived by his stepmother, Joann Hart; Marc’s loving wife Sherry, to whom he was happily married for 20 years; two daughters, Katrina and Sarah and his stepchildren Brent and Jill; brother Barry and sister Stacey; grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family, church family and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17th at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, followed by a graveside service at East Skowhegan Cemetery, 457-483 Oak Pond Road, Skowhegan. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life will be held at Canaan Farmers Hall at 296 Main Street, Canaan
