NEWPORT- Margaret Anne Schneller, 99, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born to John Francis Quinn and Anna Bella Guthrie on May 16th, 1925, in New York City, with a heart full of love and a strong devotion to her catholic faith.
Margaret married the love of her life, George Schneller, on October 2nd, 1943. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter, celebrating 66 wonderful years of marriage before George's passing. Margaret raised her children on Long Island, where she created a warm and loving home. Later in life, she and George moved to Maine, where she resided for the past 40 years.
Margaret loved the simple joys of life- immersing herself in a good book, enjoying the beauty of the beach, and cherishing time spent with her beloved family. Her devotion to the lord and her Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her children Margaret Schneller of PA, Joan and William Ackerson of NY, George and Kathleen Schneller of NY, Edward and Linda Schneller of ME, William Schneller of NY, and Alice and James Schreiner of SC. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, as well as her 13 great-grandchildren. Margaret leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family and the lord, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be no services at this time.
