DEXTER - Marie Kachan, 70, died November 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 5, 1948 in Marlborough, Mass. a daughter of Ziegfried and Lilla (Giles) Kachan, Sr. She had a passion and love for animals, especially horses. Marie was an outdoors person and loved to fish. She also enjoyed crafts and was proud of her many trophies and ribbons for crafting and horse competitions. Marie is survived by her brother, Ziegfried Kachan, Jr. of Orono; a half sister, Joan Smith of San Francisco, CA; good friends, Carla Jefferson of Houston, Texas and Joseph Munster of Greenville; as well as many other friends, old and new. Spring burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Rockwood. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
