MONSON and HEPHZIBAH, GEORGIA - Maurice R. Pearl, 83, was born April 27, 1937, a son of Leon and Lorina (Awalt) Pearl of Dexter. A resident of Hephzibah, GA for 45 years, he passed peacefully May 2, 2020, surrounded by his family. In the early years, he worked at Moosehead Manufacturing in Monson. After moving south to Augusta, GA he worked at Pearl Roof and Decking, later working as a foreman at Red Apple Acres in Burke County. He enjoyed working with his hands and had a great sense of humor that will be missed. He loved his family. Maurice is survived by a sister, Phyllis Nelson of Corinna; 2 sons, Randy and wife Pam Pearl of Hephzibah, GA, and Linwood and wife Alma Pearl of Modoc, SC; daughter Linda and husband Vic Rice of Jackson, SC; 8 grandchldren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a special niece Judy Robichaud of Dexter. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Leon Pearl, Jr.; sisters, Madeline Anderson, Evelyn Moulton, Geraldine Hughes, and Irene Nelson. No services have been scheduled at this time.
