Michael Andrew Hands was born November 29, 1973 to Samuel and Ellen Geiselman Hands. He died March 30, 2026.

Michael was a devoted father, son and brother. He will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his work ethic, and his honesty. If you ever needed him he would be there. Michael was an avid hunter and fly fisherman. Hours would be spent waiting for the perfect buck to cross his path or other times just sitting overlooking his pond with a cup of coffee and a cigar. His laugh was infectious and carried throughout those who were around him. His children were forever in his heart and his love for them immense. We loved him very much and are going to miss him tremendously.

He is survived by his daughter Dehlia Hands, stepdaughters, Geneva ,and Elsie, his father Samuel C. Hands III; three brothers, Samuel J. Hands, Timothy A. Hands and Noah D. Hands and four sisters, Jody L. Freudenberger, Rebecca A. Underhill, Kathleen J. Snow and Sara E. Hatch; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one child, his son Gabriel M. Hands; his wife, Lori Durden Hands, and his mother Ellen Hands.
