Michael Sidney Heath, 63, died October 9, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident in Plymouth. He was born April 25, 1955 in Bangor. Mike grew up as a child of an Air Force family living in a lot of different locations. He landed back in Maine and graduated from Bangor High School in 1973. Mike was employed as a purchaser for several medical supply companies, most recently with Black Bear Medical & C.A.R.E Services in Newport. Music was his passion. Mike was an avid supporter of the local music scene, occasionally sitting in and playing percussion with a few local bands.
He is survived by 3 siblings, Pamela and husband James Hoodenpyle of Pleasant Hope MO, Scott and wife Kathi (Hill) Heath of Glenburn, and Thomas Heath of Tampa FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends, especially Arend and Christy Thibodeau.
Mike is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Dorothy (Royal) Heath.
Per Mike's request "I want no funeral or religious service of any kind. If you wish, my family and friends can honor me by gathering in celebration of my life with music and song and drink. Let there be no sadness for I will finally be at peace." So, a gathering will be held on October 20th at 18 Harlow Street, Brewer starting at 2pm.
