NEWPORT - It is with great sadness that the family of Michael T. McDonough announces his passing on Friday, May 1, 2020. He was the loving son of the late Michael and Helen (Reilly) McDonough. He was the dear brother to John and the late Evelyn McDonough, Thesesa and Steven Savicke, Patricia and Jack Manchini and Maureen McDonough, all of Massachusetts. He will be fondly remembered by 15 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and many good friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his beloved dog Bella. He was born in Boston, MA, graduated from South Boston High School, and served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as owner of MTM Precision Sheet Metal Company in Clinton, MA, until his retirement when he permanently moved to Maine. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
