HARMONY--Michael passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and close friends around him September 17, 2021. Born May 17, 1947 in Providence, Rhode Island to Aleck and Frances (Murphy) Wasilewski, Michael graduated from Johnston High School then served the next 4 years in the Air Force, Special Forces in Vietnam. Michael worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years in Rhode Island then transferred to Maine, retiring in 2002. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He also enjoyed playing golf and cribbage. Michael enjoyed all sports activities and could be found at any high school sporting events cheering on the kids. Many of them call him "Grandpa Mike". Michael made a lot of friends along the way and touched so many lives with his sense of humor and knowledge of all things sports. Michael is survived by his wife, Deborah and his two boys, Jebadiah and Zeke Wasilewski. A Celebration of Life will be October 9th 1 pm - 3 pm at the Harmony Community Center.
