DEXTER - Mildred W. Batson, 96, died March 21, 2017.

She was born June 21, 1920 in Stillwater, a daughter of J. Edward and Helena (Harmon) White. Mildred and her husband Ralph spent their adult years in Dexter where they had many wonderful friends and neighbors. Ralph predeceased her on September 28, 1998.

Mildred is survived by her children, Mary (Richard) Glidden of Fairport, NY, and Philip (Deirdre) Batson of Katonah, NY; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Jeanne (Dustin) Rogers of Bangor; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside committal services will be held in August at the Batson Family Cemetery in Addison.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dexter Historical Society, 12 Church Street, Dexter, ME 04930. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
