Obituary

GUILFORD- Mildred P. Noble, 93, died September 18, 2010, in Winter Haven, FL, due to heart failure. She was born June 11, 1917, in Saginaw, Michigan, daughter of Susanna and Gottlieb Priebe.

She married her high school sweetheart, Paul Noble, June 21, 1937. They lived in Mayville, MI, until 1950 when they moved to Guilford, ME. She was an active member of the Guilford United Methodist Church, and a long time of the Zephyrus Club. In 1984, Millie and Paul retired to Carefree Country Club in Winter Haven, FL. In 2003, Millie moved to Lake Howard Height, an independent living facility. Millie will be remembered by family and friends as an excellent seamstress and fantastic cook. Her children would always fight to see who got the first chocolate chip cookie.

Millie was predeceased by her husband, Paul, on October 22, 1994; and her daughter, Valerie, on November 25, 2000.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Jerry and Patricia Noble of Winter Haven, FL; a daughter, Trudy Ferden of Clare, MI, and a daughter and her husband, Julie and Adam Jonas of San Pedro, CA; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the Guilford United Methodist Church, with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford.
