GUILFORD, Myrtle "Mickey" (McNerney) Herring, 77, passed away May 19, 2011 at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born in Old Town August 20, 1933, daughter of Charles and Ruby (Mudgett) McNerney.

She touched the heart of everyone she knew.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Norris Herring.

She is survived and will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters; 5 children, Alan Herring of GA, Robin Foss and her husband Kevin of Detroit, Tammy Estes and her husband James of Parkman, Donald Herring and his wife Angie of GA, Becky Haynes and her husband Jeremy of GA; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a friend of many years, Beverly Dow of Dover-Foxcroft.

Services will be announced by the family.
