Nancy Knowles, 80, died July 4, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 15, 1938 in Boston, a daughter of Roland and Bertha (Bulens) Sherwood.

She was married in and was a life member of the First Baptist Church of Pittsfield. She was also a past member of the Morses Corner Baptist Church in Corinna while Wilbur was plant engineer at Eastland Woolen Mill, and a past member of Friendship Baptist Church of Ocala, FL while they lived there.

In addition to her husband Wilbur, she is survived by a son and wife, Allen and Wendi Knowles of Pittsfield; 2 daughters Alisa Knowles of Hartland and Bethany Knowles of Pittsfield; 2 brothers, Arthur Sherwood of Clearwater, FL and David Sherwood of Ripley; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

Nancy was predeceased by 3 brothers, Harold, Roland, Jr., and Alton.

A private celebration of life will be held.

Burial will be in the Pittsfield Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
