DEXTER - Oliver "Bud" Frankowski, Jr., 71, passed away peacefully in his home on July 31, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Oliver was born on May 29, 1948 in Rockland, a son of Oliver and Hazel (Curtis) Frankowski, Sr. He worked for Dexter Shoe Company for 33 years as Assistant to the President, often traveling to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Later, he was fortunate to serve as CFO for A. E. Robinson Oil Company for 15 years before retiring in 2018. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 49 years, Cathy (Clukey) Frankowski; his loving son Aric Frankowski and his wife Amanda; his wonderful grandchildren Logan Frankowski, Jessica Perez, and her husband Isaac; his great grandchildren Emily and Lina, all of Punta Gorda, FL; and his brother James Frankowski and wife Sylvia of Warren. He would like to acknowledge special friends, Tammy Tibbetts and Norma Leavitt, from Dexter Shoe, and his boss and good friend, Jim Robinson, whom he will be forever grateful for. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service at 11 A.M. Monday, August 5th, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bryant Road, Dexter.
