Etna – Pamela K. (Temple) Powers, 71, of Etna passed away on September 17, 2024 with her husband by her side. Pam was born on September 23, 1952, the daughter of Royce and Ruth Temple. Pam grew up in Hartland, Maine in her early years. During her teen years, her family moved to Rockville, Connecticut. While in Connecticut, she met James (Jimmy to her) Powers and the rest was history. Pam and James moved back to Maine, settling back in Hartland. Three months later, they were married and nine months later (plus two days), Jamie was born. Three years later they welcomed Sabrina into the world. Pam enjoyed being a stay home mom and was very dedicated to her family. She would have given the shirt off her back and the chair she sat in for her family. Pam enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed her time shopping (mainly for Hannaford sales), she wanted everyone to be full and happy. Her favorite past time was her family though, spending time cooking, baking, going for walks, ice fishing and watching the grandchildren in her later years, who she cherished very much. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Powers; her son, Jamie Powers; her daughter, Sabrina Ivory and her husband James; her grandchildren, Trista, Hailey, Hunter, Madison, Cole and Kinsley; three great grandchildren; her sister, Jeannie Clukey and her husband Mike. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Ruth Raymond and her father, Royce Temple. Friends and Family may call from 4-7PM on September 23, 2024, at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, ME. A Funeral service will take place at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 12PM. Immediately following the services, burial will take place at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Etna, ME.
