HERMON AND ST. ALBANS - Pam Wilson, 83, died September 24, 2019 at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 13, 1936 in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Ivor and Valerie (Davies) Evans. She was a Registered Nurse working many years for Dr. John Baker at Newport Family Practice. She and her husband Gene moved from California in the early 60's to their farm in St. Albans where they raised horses. Pam was an animal lover and avid horsewoman serving for decades on the board of the Maine Appaloosa Horse Club. She will also be remembered as a wonderful artist.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Kim Wilson-Raymond, and her grandchildren Kaylyn and Nathan Raymond; her son in law Steven Raymond; nieces and nephews Scott and Amy Jacobs, Jeff and Christie Zwetsch, Willow Evans, Michelle and Don Greene, Scott and Darlene Wilson, Diana and Pete Dallepazze, Michelle and Sam Cacciabaudo. Pam enjoyed an extended family of friends and was "Nana" to several generations.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gene D. Wilson, her brother Terrence Evans, sister, Judy Evans, brother in law Walter "Jack" Wilson, and nephew Ken Zwetsch.
A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. Friday, September 27th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where friends may call from 6 P.M. until the time of service. Interment will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
