NEWPORT - Phil McIntyre, 70, died August 23, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1950 in Caribou, a son of Elbridge and Mary (Violette) McIntyre. He graduated from Caribou High School and served in the U. S. Army.

Phil was a self employed mechanic and enjoyed restoring and selling antique cars. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife Frances (Sherwood) McIntyre; children Philip "BO" and wife Christine, Kristoffer and wife Michelle, and Cheri Huffman and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Kyrestaine, Jonathan, Harley and Shawna Mae; sisters Ruth Cote, Joyce Shepherd, Nancy Beaulieu, Betty Theriault and Laura Corbin; 4 sisters in law; 3 brothers in law; and many nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by a brother Carl "Sonny" McIntyre. He will be sadly missed by his beloved cat Lilly.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Memorial contributions may be made to help defray final expenses, to Mrs. Frances McIntyre, 15 Shaw Street, Newport, ME 04953.
