ST. ALBANS- Phyllis Hennessey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 1, 1949, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Phyllis was the cherished daughter of Philippe and Rita Gauthier. Raised in a loving home, she grew up with a strong sense of family, which remained at the center of her life. Phyllis was a fantastic mother and wife—roles she embraced with unwavering devotion and joy. Her greatest happiness came from caring for her family and being present for all of life's big and small moments. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Bob Hennessey, and their four children: Ron, Shawn, Amy, and Shane Hennessey. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy, as well as her dear siblings, George and Jackie Gauthier. Phyllis touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and generous spirit. She will be remembered always for her deep love of family and the legacy of compassion and care she leaves behind. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Agnes Perish at 11am in Pittsfield, Maine on Thursday, October 2nd. With a service following at Maine Vets Cemetery in Augusta at 2pm.
