DIXMONT - Ralph Flagg, 88, died May 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1931 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, a son of Abbott and Mary ( Hadley) Flagg. He graduated from Newport High School and was a self employed woodsman until his 50's. He then drove a truck for Hughes Brothers Construction until his retirement. Ralph was a past president of the Gold Crest Riders Snowmobile Club. He is survived by his wife, Edna (Hathaway) Flagg of Dixmont; 6 sons, Ralph and wife Kelly Flagg of Newport, Steve Flagg and significant other, Kimberly Morin of Old Town, Randy Mehuren, Ricky Mehuren and significant other, Brenda Peabody, all of Dixmont, Robert Mehuren of Unity and Kenny and wife June Flagg of Solon; 4 daughters, Becky and husband Dan Nealley of Troy, Rachel Bickford of Pittsfield, Maryetta Flagg and Brenda Flagg Curtis, both of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother Jim and wife Rhoda Flagg of New Berlin, Wisconsin; 24 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. There will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
