Randall F. Mann, Sr.
DEXTER – Randall Francis Mann, Sr., 91, died December 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1932 in Holyoke, MA, a son of Edward and Mary (Ilnicki) Mann. He served in the Army and Naval Reserves during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and retired from Dexter Shoe Company. In his younger years he was an adagio dancer where he performed on stage and television.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Leona (Desroches) Mann; 4 sons, Douglas and wife Tina, Randall, Jr., Richard and wife Debra, Steven and fiancée Carol; 2 daughters, Karen Ellis and husband Alan, and Lisa; 2 brothers, Thomas and Patrick; 3 sisters, Mary Proulx, Jeannie Flores and Patricia Harvey; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, who brought a smile to his face and joy to his heart. He also had many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Edward, his son Eric, and a granddaughter Mary Rowan Ellis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, February 9th at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 64 Free Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Father Rob Lupo officiating. A military committal service will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, May 13th, in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
