Richard P Berry III (Rick) passed away October 09, 2025 at his family's camp in Newport, Maine from complications of Crohn's Disease with which he had to deal his entire life.

He was born August 3, 1978 in Bangor and graduated from Maine Central Institute and University of Maine, Farmington. He had a successful career in the financial industry, living in the Boston and Denver areas, and indulged often in his true passion of skiing. To Rick, skiing was more than a sport, it was life since his dad put him on skis at age 3.

He is survived by his parents Richard Berry Jr and Maryann (Leone) Berry, his paternal grandfather Richard Berry and a brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Melissa Berry and one niece, Katerina Zaiter and many friends from everywhere he traveled.

A celebration of life will be held at Crosby and Neal Funeral Home 117 main street Newport, Maine on Saturday June 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
