GREEVILLE- Riley Michael Lizotte, 12, died suddenly March 17, 2013, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, with his mother and grandmother at his side. A miracle from his birth, he was born on July 20, 2000, with pulmonary atresia, and braved 5 open heart surgeries.

Self-less and concerned for others, Riley was a very happy, sweet, and loving boy. His quality of life was of most importance to his family. Riley was a jokester with a great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh, but at the end of the day what made him happiest were the hugs and snuggles. He will be sadly missed and will be in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Lizotte; his grandparents, Michael and Jackie Lizotte; and great grandparents, Francis and Joyce Whitney all of Greenville; an uncle and aunt, Joe and Mondae Lizotte, and their children, Jacob, Hannah and Andrew, all of Dayton; several great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his great grandparents, George and Emily Later, and Roland Lizotte; and a great aunt, Aileen Mendes.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Union Evangelical Church in Greenville with the Rev. Dr. Robert Veon officiating. Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Spring burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
