Robert L. Choiniere DEXTER – Robert L. Choiniere, 82, died January 9, 2024 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1941 in Worcester, MA, a son of Eli and Rita (Groleau) Choiniere. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps for 4 years. He retired as a supervisor for United Parcel Service and moved to Maine. Bob enjoyed his family, gardening, fishing and hunting and was a member of the Charleston Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Gage) of Dexter; 2 sons, Robert of Dexter, Scott and wife Virginia of Palmyra; a daughter, Carolyn and husband Brian Scannell of West Point, GA; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and his Goddaughter and niece, Jill Choiniere of CT. Funeral services will be held noon Monday, January 15th, at the Charleston Church, where friends may call from 11 A.M. until the time of service. Spring burial will be in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
