PITTSFIELD- Robert D. "Bob" Stolpe, 77, died February 2, 2008, at his home in Pittsfield. He was born February 11, 1930, in Topeka, Kansas, son of William and Della (Cowan) Stolpe. He graduated from Washburn University of Topeka and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years retiring with the rank of Major in 1977. He was a volunteer at N. Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Florida. He was a member of the Florida Bass Federation & St. Marks United Methodist Church in Crestview, FL. He is survived by his wife, M. Elizabeth "Libby" Stolpe of Pittsfield; daughter, Sara Tetley and her husband Gary of Manchester, MO; 2 sisters, Lois Elliott and husband, James "Jim" of Olathe, KS and Eleanor Janetos and her husband, Lewis of Rollinsford, NH; stepchildren, Suzan J. Dexter and companion Jason Orr of Pittsfield, Nancy A. and husband, Tim Harding of Plymouth, Rob W. Dexter and companion Dawn Millegan of Freeport, FL and Linda J. Dexter and fiance Bob Bruce of Daytona, FL; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Suzan S. Pearl. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street in Newport.
