Robin Eugene Frost, 76, of Palmyra, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2026. Born March 20, 1950, in Greenwich, Connecticut, Robin lived a life full of faith, love, music, family, and generous service to others.
Robin began playing drums at age six and went on to perform professionally with show bands along the East Coast. He built a respected career managing car dealerships' service departments in Connecticut before moving to Maine in 1992, where he established his own well-regarded auto repair, rebuilding, and consultation business. He continued his love of music for many years as a member of the Anah Shrine Band, and he was a devoted Mason.
Faith was at the heart of Robin's life. He was deeply involved in the music ministry at Peoples United Methodist Church in Newport, Maine, where he served as Music Director for the children's ministry. In the last couple of years, he actively participated in missions of Deeper Life Assembly, Pittsfield, Maine. Those who knew Robin knew a man of warmth, kindness, and an open heart — always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or lift someone up. When he sensed frustration, anxiety, or tension in a room, he would often turn his good-natured humor on himself, using a laugh at his own expense to ease the pressure and lighten the mood for everyone around him.
Robin is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Wee, whom he married in May 2012; his father, Robert E. Frost, 99; his daughter-in-law, Laura Frost; his granddaughters, Francesca and Lyla Frost of Connecticut; his sister, Cherlyn Gates, and her husband, John Gates, of Maryland, along with their children and grandchildren; and his brother, Kevin R. Frost, and his wife, Carmen Chagas, of Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Anne Frost, and his son, Jason Robert Frost.
A Memorial Service celebrating Robin's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 am at Peoples United Methodist Church, 131 Main St, Newport, Maine, followed by a light lunch.
Robin will be remembered for his faith, his music, his generous heart, and his deep love for his family and all who knew him.
